A 23-year-old woman from New Hampshire, Kelli Tedford, has been arrested for allegedly contaminating food products at a local grocery store with her urine. The Keene Police Department confirmed her arrest on February 25, following an anonymous tip received on Valentine’s Day regarding disturbing videos she posted online.

The incident occurred at Monadnock Food Co-op, where Tedford reportedly filmed herself urinating directly onto various food items and applying it using different methods. Following the police notification, the grocery store promptly removed contaminated items from shelves and issued a recall notice to customers who may have purchased those products. They confirmed that no fresh produce or refrigerated items were affected but noted financial losses exceeding $1,500 due to destroyed merchandise and cleaning costs.
The affected bulk items included Organic Red Quinoa, Organic White Quinoa, Organic Tri-Color Quinoa, Organic Cornmeal, Organic Polenta, Organic Coconut Shreds, and Raw Walnuts. Authorities believe that similar incidents may have occurred previously in Keene and surrounding communities since some of the videos appear to date back to 2021. As investigations continue, police are considering additional charges against Tedford.
Tedford has been released on her own recognizance pending an arraignment scheduled for April 7. The Keene Health Department has confirmed that there are no ongoing risks related to this incident.
