Elder Bednar Delivers Powerful Message at April 2025 General Conference, Inspiring Global Faith Communities

Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles addressed attendees during the Sunday morning session of the April 2025 general conference, held on April 6, 2025. During his address, Elder Bednar described how the organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was a result of miraculous experiences. He emphasized that Joseph Smith’s First Vision was pivotal; it marked his direct encounter with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. This experience set in motion subsequent events crucial to the Restoration.

The translation and publication of the Book of Mormon followed as a significant milestone in this process. Additionally, he noted that priesthood authority was restored through heavenly messengers who conferred keys upon Joseph Smith.
