According to NOS Nieuws, the court in Dendermonde convicted L. and 16 others for importing approximately 3,500 kilograms of cocaine into the Waaslandhaven in Antwerp. The drugs were intercepted by police in 2020.
Currently, L. is a fugitive and is internationally wanted. He may be hiding in Sierra Leone, where he was seen in a video earlier this year. The Netherlands has officially requested his extradition from Sierra Leone, but no results have been reported.
