The new search and navigation bar relocates messy navigation from the left-hand side to a horizontal nav-bar across the top. An enlarged search bar now displays popular searches, recent searches, and your most popular genres when clicked. Users can search by publisher, category, and tag, which was not possible before.
A Wishlist category next to the search bar shows how many games you currently have wishlisted. The nav-bar condenses options across Browse, Recommendations, Categories, Hardware, Ways to Play, and More drop-down menus. The horizontal nav-bar follows users around Steam, ensuring it remains accessible on various pages.
