Qualcomm claims these processors are “the fastest and most efficient processors for Windows PCs,” with the Snapdragon X2 Elite offering up to 31 percent faster CPU performance than the previous generation at the same power, or requiring 43 percent less power.
The Snapdragon X2 Elite features a 3rd-gen Oryon CPU with up to 18 cores, including 12 cores running at up to 4.4GHz, and a new 80 TOPS Hexagon NPU for AI tasks, promising 37 percent more performance with a 16 percent power consumption improvement.
