The police are investigating a link to a failed attack on a fish shop in the area that occurred on Wednesday night. The bag with cobras was discovered outside the apartment under a balcony. The Explosieven Opruimingsdienst Defensie (EOD) neutralized the contents of the bag.
Residents of the partially evacuated apartment are being accommodated near the square. The police are reviewing surveillance footage to identify any relevant information related to the bag’s discovery.
