Borderlands 4 is set to make a surprise appearance at the Tokyo Game Show later tonight, around 10:30 PM ET. The event will showcase DLC featuring a new Vault Hunter, just two weeks after the game’s release.
The new Vault Hunter is hinted to channel Gambit, likely inspired by Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford. A tweet suggests a card-based character, with images of cards stuck in sand featuring skulls.
Randy Pitchford, known for his love of magic, will present the new character. There is no confirmation on whether he will perform a card trick during the presentation.
“I don’t expect this Vault Hunter to be lame or anything.”
— Paul Tassi, Writer
The DLC will include the Vault Hunter, Mad Ellie, and the Vault of the Damned. Four content updates are planned before this character’s release, including two free events and two paid Bounty Packs.
