Activision has shared new multiplayer gameplay and details for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which releases on 14th November. The early access beta begins on 2nd October, with an open beta from 5th to 8th October.
Multiplayer Gameplay Features
The early access beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 starts on 2nd October at 6pm in the UK/10am PDT. Participants will have access to six 6v6 maps, including Blackheart, The Forge, Toshin, Exposure, Imprint, and Cortex. Zombies fans can try the Vandorn Farm survival map during the beta.
During the showcase, Activision revealed that Black Ops 7 will feature 18 launch maps, including 16 for 6v6 matches and two for the new 20v20 Skirmish mode. Maps include Colossus, Den, Express, Hijacked, Homestead, and Paranoia. Additionally, seven multiplayer maps are planned for post-launch Season 1, including the return of Nuketown 2025 shortly after launch.
Weapons and Game Modes
At launch, Black Ops 7 will include 16 new multiplayer weapons, such as the M10 Breacher pump-action shotgun. Players can expect additional weapons and attachment rewards as the post-launch seasons unfold. The game will also introduce new Weapon Prestige attachments and mastery camos across various modes.
Activision showcased a new Overload mode, a 6v6 objective game where teams secure an overload device to score points. The Zombies mode features the Ashes of the Damned map, inspired by the Bermuda Triangle, with landmarks like Janus Towers Plaza and Black Water Cabin. Players can use the wonder vehicle Tessie for transportation in this mode.
Warzone will introduce a new Resurgence map called Haven’s Hollow, featuring nine unique points of interest. This map will be available with Season 1 later this year.
