De Schorre in Boom has fully reopened as of October 1, 2025. The meadow where the Tomorrowland stage burned down received a layer of clean soil after necessary ground remediation.
Ground Remediation Details
During the dismantling, it was discovered that there was fire damage beneath the stage. Mireille Colson, a provincial deputy from N-VA, stated that soil remediation experts determined the ground needed to be cleaned. Approximately 30 centimeters of soil was excavated to remove all possible harmful substances. Following this, the meadow was refilled with clean earth.
The area has been reseeded, meaning it will take some time before the meadow becomes green again. However, the hardened pathways in the area are now accessible.
Current Access and Future Growth
The public can once again access the hardened walkways around the meadow site. As for the newly added soil, it is in the process of being revitalized, but immediate greenery is not expected.
