On Sunday, local Brussels police conducted a control action near the Vroegmarkt Mabru site with city officials and the Federal Public Service Health. They apprehended several sellers of counterfeit cigarettes.
Counterfeit Cigarettes Seized
A total of 2.896 pakjes namaaksigaretten were confiscated, with an estimated sales value of approximately 14.000 euro, according to a police spokesperson.
Other Illegal Products
Additionally, 200 perfumes and other cosmetic products were seized for containing dangerous ingredients. A seller was also caught selling counterfeit garbage bags from the Brussels-Capital Region, with around 200 rolls confiscated.
