Meta’s Ray-Ban Display glasses are now available for purchase, but acquiring a pair is more complex than buying other Meta smart glasses. They can only be reserved at select physical retail locations in the united states.
Purchase Details
The Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, priced at $799, are sold at specific Ray-Ban, Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters, and Best Buy locations. Verizon will also offer the glasses in the near future. Customers can demo and purchase them at Meta Lab locations, including the Meta Store in Burlingame, California, and upcoming pop-ups in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York.
To obtain a pair, customers must book a demo appointment through Meta’s website. This process ensures that customers find the right glasses and wristband fit. The glasses accommodate prescription lenses within a range of -4.00 to +4.00, which may not suit all prescriptions.
Currently, demand for demos is high, with many locations fully booked for weeks. Limited availability is also a challenge for those living outside major cities, as only seven locations for demos are listed on Sunglass Hut’s website.
Future Availability
Meta plans to expand availability of the Ray-Ban Display glasses to Canada, France, Italy, and the UK by early 2026. The company anticipates that purchasing options will increase as the glasses remain on the market.
These glasses represent Meta’s first product featuring a heads-up display. At $799, they are significantly more expensive than other models in Meta’s AI glasses lineup, but they offer enhanced functionality compared to existing Ray-Ban or Oakley models.
