The update resolves unreliable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections reported by users, which affected accessories like the Apple Watch and CarPlay. Apple states that iOS 26.0.1 addresses an issue where “Wi-Fi and Bluetooth may occasionally disconnect on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models.”
Additionally, the update fixes a cellular network connectivity issue that some users faced after updating to iOS 26. iOS 26.0.1 also corrects a camera bug that caused unexpected artifacts in photos taken under certain lighting conditions.
