Today, Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 with bug fixes and security updates for Mac Studio owners, alongside iOS 26.0.1 for iPhone.
macOS Tahoe was released to all users exactly two weeks ago. A bug had prevented some Mac Studio owners from installing the update. This issue has now been resolved in the macOS 26.0.1 update.
According to Apple, “This update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and resolves an issue that prevented some users from upgrading to macOS Tahoe on Mac Studio (M3 Ultra, 2025).” If you have an M3 Ultra Mac Studio and previously were unable to install macOS Tahoe, that should no longer be a problem.
Apple did not specify which other bug fixes are included in today’s update. The company will provide updates on any noteworthy discoveries in the new software.
Following the release of a major software update like macOS Tahoe, it is common for various bugs to be present that could not be addressed during the beta cycle. Today’s release aims to make macOS Tahoe more stable and performant.
In addition to updates for iOS and macOS, Apple also released minor updates for tvOS, visionOS, watchOS, and HomePod software.
