Marathon Technical Test Scheduled for October 22-28

Marathon Closed Technical Test Set for October 22 to 28 Bungie will conduct a closed technical test for Marathon from October 22, 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET to October 28, 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET. This test will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Interested participants can apply through the official website until October 16 at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET. Applications for PC will also be available on Steam starting October 13 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET. Bungie stated, “This is an important checkpoint for us as we test our improvements since Alpha. This includes three maps, five runner shells, proximity chat, re-tuned combat pacing, solo queue, deeper environmental storytelling, and more.” They noted that the Technical Test build is a work in progress and will only showcase a portion of what is planned for the full release, focusing on the early player experience.
