Ring has introduced its first-ever 4K security cameras and an AI feature designed to assist families in locating lost pets. The announcement was made on September 30, 2025.
New Security Camera Models
Ring has launched several new models available for pre-order. These include the Ring Wired Doorbell Pro priced at $249.99, Wired Doorbell Plus at $179.99, Outdoor Cam Pro at $199.99, Spotlight Cam Pro at $249.99, Floodlight Cam Pro at $279.99, Indoor Cam Plus at $59.99, and Wired Doorbell Elite at $499.99. Additionally, the Outdoor Cam Pro is available for $299.98 with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, and the Spotlight Cam Pro is also available for $349.98 with PoE.
The new features aim to enhance home security with advanced video quality and functionality. The introduction of 4K resolution is expected to provide clearer images and better surveillance capabilities.
AI Features for Pet Recovery
Ring’s new AI feature, called Search Party, will assist in locating lost pets. This feature is set to roll out in November 2025, initially focusing on dogs, followed by cats and other pets. This innovation aims to provide families with a reliable tool for finding their missing animals.
Additional features, including Alexa+ Greetings and Familiar Faces, are expected to be available in December 2025. These enhancements will further integrate smart home technology with security measures.
