The AI music hosts aim to enhance the listening experience by generating audio snippets while users enjoy their music. The “Beyond the Beat” host will provide stories, trivia, and commentary relevant to listeners’ musical preferences.
This experimental feature resembles a radio host’s banter during song transitions but does not create playlists like Spotify’s AI DJ. It utilizes generative AI technology, which poses risks of inaccuracies, though Google’s Audio Overviews have shown quality in limited contexts.
