Thousands of Dutch citizens attended Elsfest in The Hague last weekend, where our editor Marit Nubé, along with two freelancers, created a video report that allowed right-wing citizens to express their stories and concerns on camera.
- Thousands of Dutch people attended Elsfest in Den Haag.
- The demonstration turned violent and caused damage.
- Our second camera was destroyed by hooligans.
- The damaged camera was uninsured and owned by a freelancer.
- Donations are requested to cover the camera's cost.
- Our mission is to give a voice to ordinary Dutch citizens.
The demonstration did not proceed as planned. Our second camera was ripped from its tripod, smashed, and the remaining parts were taken. We are left with only a broken tripod and part of the screen, while the rest, including the SD card, is missing.
An official report has been filed regarding the destruction. The damaged camera was uninsured and owned by one of our freelancers. We are seeking to reimburse him for the loss, and contributions can be made through our donation link.
