On October 2, 2025, Minecraft is releasing Release Candidate 1 for version 1.21.10. This hotfix addresses several issues that arose after the Copper Age drop.
Bug Fixes in 1.21.10 Release Candidate 1
This release resolves multiple bugs, including:
- Entities in cobwebs clipping through pistons.
- Items glitching inside the piston head when pushed through powder snow or cobwebs.
- Changes in wind charge behavior when colliding with specific blocks.
- Chunks not loading during player teleportation.
- Rooms with carpet preventing maps in item frames from being placed on walls touching the floor.
- Repeating command blocks not consistently teleporting players to a specific location.
- An issue causing entities on bubble columns to fly high into the air.
Installation Instructions
The Release Candidate is available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To install it, open the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab. Users should back up their worlds, as testing versions may corrupt them.
